53-12 league cross-country this Sunday

The first 53-12 cross-country league race takes place this Sunday at Harwich. You'll find full details of the venue and the course in the forum and on the event page.
If you haven't run cross-country for the club before, this league is a good place to start. Races are about 5 miles and the event is pretty low key (except at the front).
The first four men home and first two ladies count as our scoring team. But everybody else counts indirectly by keeping other clubs' scoring teams down.
Last season we just missed promotion from Pool B by a narrow margin, this year we intend to win it.
No need to enter in advance, just turn up on the day - senior race starts at 10.45. You must wear a club top or you won't be counted at the finish.
Most courses are muddy, although difficult to tell if the dry weather will continue for another week, so wear shoes that will give you a grip on mud.
